Samsung on Monday reported the Galaxy Tab Active 3 tablet. The newly launched Galaxy Tab Active 3 is the replacement to the Galaxy Tab Active 2 that was launched in 2017.
It will be available in select business sectors including Europe and Asia starting today. Samsung will make the device available to different business sectors globally in the coming days. Samsung hasn’t uncovered the cost for the tablet yet.
Talking about the features, the recently launched Galaxy Tab Active 3 is MIL-STD-810H confirmed. Samsung says that its upgraded stun ingestion is fit for withstanding drops of up to 1.5 meters with an inbox protective cover. It also comes with IP68 dustproof and water-safe covering, which makes it ideal to be used in outside environments.
“The performance and productivity features are ideal for field-based representatives and includes capacities like Touch Sensitivity to help professionals, to like first responders, who use gloves for working securely in the most testing situations and conditions,” Samsung wrote in a press release.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 specs
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 comes with an 8.0-inch WUXGA PLS TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. It runs on Samsung’s Exynos 9810 chipset that is combined with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of extra room. It very well may be extended further using a microSD card of up to 1TB space. It runs on Android 10.
Going to the camera, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 comes with a 13-megapixel back camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It has USB 3.1 Gen 1, Pogo Pin, Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS and Glonass for network and Knox Suite, face recognition and fingerprint scanner for security. It also includes S-Pen support. It is backed by a 5050mAh battery.
